Hi! I'm Daan, 20 years old and based in Hardenberg, Netherlands. In the summer of 2024 I boarded a plane for a three-week trip to the western United States. That trip showed me how insanely beautiful the world is. I knew immediately: this is what I want forever. Since I also have a passion for web development alongside travel, I decided to combine these two worlds. I built this site from the ground up to share my travel routes, budget tips, and best photos with you, fast and without distractions.

Just my regular office job in IT. No secret, no sponsorship deals. I work full-time, don't spend too much, and put whatever's left into flights and hotels. Travel is how I clear my head from screens and deadlines, and honestly, having a steady job makes it easier: I know what comes in, so I know what I can spend.
Both, and that's exactly how I want to keep it. Sometimes I head out with friends for a week away, somewhere everyone's been wanting to go for ages. And sometimes I travel with my girlfriend, which is a totally different experience: calmer, more at your own pace. Solo travel isn't really my thing. Not because it scares me, but because I just love bringing the people around me along for the ride.
