About Daan, the founder of DaanTravel
Hi! I'm Daan, 20 years old, based in Hardenberg, Netherlands. In the summer of 2024 I hopped on a plane for a three-week trip across the western US. That trip showed me just how insanely beautiful the world is, and I knew right away: this is what I want to keep doing forever. Travel isn't my only passion though, I'm also into web development. So I decided to combine the two and built this site from the ground up. The goal: sharing my travel routes, budget tips, and best photos with you, fast and without distractions.
